On July 9, 2026, at Padua’s Arena Spettacoli, David Morales returns behind the decks for a set that promises to be built, as he does it: long, progressive, and designed to hold a dancefloor without artifice.
Born in Brooklyn and trained in New York clubs of the 1980s, Morales grew up with the disco heritage and the energy of Paradise Garage. Very quickly, he established himself as a remixer, to the point of becoming one of the leading architects of the vocal house sound made in New York, notably through Def Mix Productions alongside Frankie Knuckles and Judy Weinstein. In the 1990s, he signed reworkings tailored for the night, with this blend of house rhythms, soulful basslines, and melodic hooks that shaped pop and the club scene.
On stage, you find this same signature: a warm, direct house, often threaded with vocals and R&B grooves, with a sense of timing that tells as much the history of clubs as the present moment.
