On 26 January 2027, OVO Hydro in Glasgow lines up a sharp indie night with Two Door Cinema Club, Circa Waves and Arkayla.
Two Door Cinema Club arrive with that punchy mix of indie rock and pop instincts they’ve been refining since Tourist History: bright, melodic guitar lines, tight grooves, and songs built to hit fast and stick. Over the years they’ve opened their sound to synths, disco and new wave touches, without losing the clean, direct writing that makes their live sets feel so immediate.
Circa Waves bring a more garage-leaning energy: crisp guitars, compact choruses, and that Liverpool-style momentum that’s made them a reliable festival band from Young Chasers through to Never Going Under. Expect something straightforward, restless, and built for moving.
Arkayla complete the bill with a Manchester edge, balancing layered guitars and haze with clear hooks and narrative lyrics. Their sound sits between alternative rock, indie and a hint of dream pop, with a live approach that keeps it driving rather than drifting.
