beabadoobee, also known as Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus, will perform at Berlin's Tempodrom on December 6, 2026 with her 'The Powerlines Tour'. Born in the Philippines and raised in London, she initially presented herself with an intimate lo-fi songwriter aesthetic that sat between bedroom pop and folk-pop, before turning her songs outward: more band feel, more 90s guitars, a slacker-rock edge, and shoegaze shimmer.
Since her early breakthrough with 'Coffee' and a string of EPs—Lice, Patched Up, Loveworm, Space Cadet, and Our Extended Play—a clear through-line runs through her work: melody first, with voice and guitar at the center. By Fake It Flowers, Beatopia and This Is How Tomorrow Moves, the sound has grown bigger without losing its directness. Live, audiences can expect exactly this tension: catchy hooks, distorted guitar textures, and songs that swing between daydream and urgency.
