Hindley Street Country Club

On 22 April 2027 at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, Hindley Street Country Club brings its studio-born energy to the stage. Built around bassist and producer Constantine Delo, this Australian collective has been shaping live-in-the-room versions of pop, rock, soul and funk staples since 2017, with that tight “session band” feel that never sounds stiff.

HSCC first grew through direct-to-camera performances recorded like a proper live take, then expanded into touring, keeping the same recipe: a locked-in rhythm section, melodic guitars, prominent keys, and, depending on the lineup, extra horns to push the groove. A rotating cast of guest singers gives each song a different shade, moving from 70s, 80s and 90s classics to more recent hits without turning it into a nostalgia exercise. Expect arrangements that respect the original structures while allowing small shifts in feel and dynamics—clean, punchy, and made for an audience that actually wants to hear the band play.
