Belle and Sebastian are returning to Glasgow for a show centred around If You’re Feeling Sinister, with a bonus selection of favourite tracks drawn from their repertoire. Born in the mid-1990s in the local indie scene, the band led by Stuart Murdoch has established itself with this distinctly personal way of telling stories about ordinary lives in small scenes, between subtle humour and restrained melancholy. On stage, their indie pop with chamber pop inflections retains an eye for detail that makes the difference: clear melodies, arrangements for strings or brass, and a taste for storytelling that recalls both folk and a certain 1960s pop. From Tigermilk to The Boy with the Arab Strap, and later toward more produced periods like Dear Catastrophe Waitress or The Life Pursuit, Belle and Sebastian have never let go of the thread of their characters and their chronicles of daily life. Join us on 21 December 2026 at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall to revisit this cult album performed in the spirit, and to enjoy a few 'fan favourites' to round out the evening.
