On December 11, 2026 at History, Imminence arrives in Toronto with its North America 2026 tour and its cinematic, melodic metalcore. Since their beginnings in Sweden, the band has built a formula recognizable above all: massive guitars, catchy choruses, and, above all, Eddie Berg’s violin weaving a singular tension amid the breakdowns and the more aerial passages. Albums such as Turn the Light On, Heaven in Hiding, and The Black sketch this chiaroscuro-writing, both bold and intricate, built for the live stage.
Dying Wish will light up the night with metalcore fueled by the 2000s wave and Portland’s hardcore energy. Staccato riffs, blasts, heavy breaks, and vocals that are predominantly shouted: a direct, tense approach, powered by the collective intensity of the live show, in the vein of Fragments of a Bitter Memory and Symptoms of Survival.
Gaerea will round out the bill with its modern, dense, and emotional black metal. Masked, the Portuguese forge a suffocating atmosphere where brutality sits beside long atmospheric breaths, between dark storytelling and rising intensity, as heard on Limbo and Mirage.
