The Last Internationale is a New York-based band formed by singer Delila Paz and guitarist Edgey Pires. Having previously opened for Kiss and appeared at festivals such as Hellfest, Lollapalooza, and Heavy Week-End, the rock group is known for its socially conscious lyrics and compelling live performances. On March 27, the band returns with its single 'Animals,' delivering a raw and uncompromising track. Fueled by intense rock energy and constant tension, the piece denounces dehumanization and the violence inflicted on those treated as 'animals.' Through a dark and visceral narrative, the song questions collective responsibility and the complicit silences. Between rage and clarity, 'Animals' turns anger into a resistance anthem.
After 'Animals,' the band reveals on June 12 'People Let's Stop the War,' a cover of Grand Funk Railroad's protest anthem first released in 1971. The track regains its strength through the performance of Delila Paz, the guitars of Edgey Pires, alongside Billy Sheehan (bass) and Ray Luzier (drums). A sound that bridges Led Zeppelin and Rage Against the Machine, with modern production.
From the Vietnam War to the conflicts that continue to shake the world today, the message has not lost its relevance; if anything, it has grown sterner with time. 'People Let's Stop the War' revives a classic of protest rock. The Last Internationale will perform at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes on February 6, 2027 at 7:30 PM.
