Since the online rise of Don’t and the Trapsoul album, through True to Self, Anniversary and his 2024 self-titled record, Tiller has shaped an intimate approach: low-key hooks, muted drums and close-mic vocals. Sharing the bill, Toronto duo Majid Jordan — singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman — bring a synth-laced R&B that leans on minimal production and understated refrains. From their debut Majid Jordan to The Space Between, Wildest Dreams and Good People, they work with soft keys, crisp percussion and a steady pulse, building songs around texture and atmosphere rather than excess.
