Ethan Regan

Ethan Regan brings his alternative folk to Voodoo, Belfast, on 4 December 2026. Raised between Raleigh and Charlotte, the US singer-songwriter builds intimate songs on a stripped acoustic frame, then nudges them with touches of rock, hip-hop and funk. A self-producing multi-instrumentalist, he keeps the voice upfront and lets the arrangements move in minimal strokes. Since his 2019 debut single, he has traced a path through the EPs Exist. and Sixty Miles on Seventy-Seven (2020) and the album parlor. (2021). In 2023, tracks like durham, my fault, wildflowers and secrecy spread widely online around the release of the EP we could’ve done this together. He continued in 2024 with the EP timbuktu and the single peach tree, tightening that direct, unvarnished tone.

On stage, Regan sticks close to the songs: guitar, a few loops and rhythmic jolts, lyrics delivered without ornament. After opening for Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker, he brings a set that favors closeness and slow-burn dynamics, the kind that lets silences and small shifts do the work. At Voodoo, it’s about the voice, the writing and the space between them.
