L7 « The Last Hurrah Tour 2026 »

L7 brings The Last Hurrah Tour 2026 to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on October 29, 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by guitarists-vocalists Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner, later joined by bassist Jennifer Finch and drummer Demetra “Dee” Plakas, the band shaped a sound at the junction of punk, hard rock and grunge: dense guitars, direct structures, and lyrics that mix dark humor, social angles and a clear feminist perspective. Early on, L7 crossed paths with the Sub Pop scene with Smell the Magic, then toured widely through the alternative circuit on the strength of albums like Bricks Are Heavy and Hungry for Stink, followed by The Beauty Process: Triple Platinum and Slap-Happy. After a pause in the 2000s, the group returned to touring in 2014 and released Scatter the Rats in 2019, staying close to their punk and grunge roots. Along the way, L7 helped launch Rock for Choice, linking music and activism. On stage, they draw across their catalogue, bridging early material, 90s releases and recent tracks.
