Rodrigo y Gabriela « Ourhome Tour »

Rodrigo y Gabriela have launched the Ourhome Tour with an acoustic guitar face‑off in which attentive listening and raw energy take the lead. Formed in Mexico in the 1990s, the duo left behind the metal of their beginnings to develop an instrumental language that blends Latin pulses, flamenco-inspired phrasing and rock tension. On stage, Rodrigo Sánchez lays out the melodic lines while Gabriela Quintero provides the rhythmic foundation—percussive and syncopated—striking the guitar body and shaping the offbeats. There is no singing, but a tight, precise and organic dialogue that shifts from a folk motif to a rougher acceleration without losing its thread.

Spotted in Dublin before embarking on extensive touring, they refined this sound across albums such as 11:11, 9 Dead Alive, Mettavolution and, more recently, In Between Thoughts... A New World. In concert, their instrumental repertoire gains depth: familiar themes, variations, nods to their rock influences and brighter, more luminous passages. The show is scheduled for March 29, 2027 at the MeM in Rennes.
