Le Cannibale Ex Macello - Bawrut, Gima

Four years ago Le Cannibale inaugurated the Ex Macello in Milan, opening for the first time to the city a temporarily reactivated industrial space, experienced and transformed together with the people and communities that passed through it. After four summers of music, culture and experimentation, 2026 marks the final year of musical activity at the Ex Macello before the area undergoes its permanent transformation.

On 11 July 2026 Le Cannibale returns to the Ex Macello with a celebration open to the city, the second event in a programme that will continue until September to commemorate one of the last chapters of this site of Milan’s independent cultural scene.

Leading the evening are two names from the contemporary Italian electronic scene: Bawrut, a producer and DJ who blends house, disco and Mediterranean influences, and Gima, an artist of Italy’s new electronic wave, whose sets move through groove, experimentation and dancefloor tension.
