Koko Electronic: Oliver Heldens

Rotterdam-born producer and DJ Oliver Heldens has carved his own lane at the junction of future house, electro and pop. Spotted by Spinnin’ Records as a teenager, he broke through with the instrumental Gecko in 2013 before Gecko (Overdrive) with Becky Hill hit number one in the UK in 2014. Since then he’s launched Heldeep Records and the Heldeep Radio show, teamed up in the studio with Nile Rodgers and Kylie Minogue, and honed a style built on springy basslines, crisp melodies and arrangements tailored for big rooms. In parallel, under his HI-LO alias, he explores a darker, more percussive side that often feeds back into his club sets.

For his KOKO debut in Camden on 24 July 2026, Heldens draws on that full palette: feel-good house cuts, tight edits and peak-time rollers balanced with tougher, techno-leaning accents. Fluid transitions, pressure-building grooves and precise releases keep momentum high, moving from early fan favourites to fresh Heldeep material. A set shaped for the dancefloor, from an artist equally at ease with radio-ready hooks and warehouse punch.
