Aiko, the band
Direct, concise and to the point. That’s how Aiko’s songs are: a band formed in Madrid by Teresa Iñesta (guitar and vocals), Lara Miera (guitar and vocals) and Bárbara López (keys and vocals).
With precise and irreverent lyrics, a touch of naïveté but a spiteful edge, entertaining live shows and an overflowing attitude, they have made their mark on the indie scene since they arrived in 2020 with Va totalmente en serio.... In 2023 they returned with their first full-length, Me están apuntando con un arma, where they developed the same bold yet precise approach in message and form, and in 2024 they released A tomar por culo, a new EP issued by Primavera Labels, rawer and more mature, which foreshadows a new phase culminating in 2026 with a new studio album.
