Ghinzu

On 6 July 2026 at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), Ghinzu returns to the stage with their frontal, finely crafted rock. Born on the Brussels indie scene in the late 1990s, the band has carved out a unique playground where a very present piano converses with abrasive guitars, synthetic layers and arrangements that lean toward film music. Led by the voice and keyboards of John Stargasm, the quintet works with contrasts, dynamic ruptures and extended constructions, without abandoning a direct rock format.

On the programme: a journey through their universe, from the raw electricity of "Electronic Jacuzzi" to the controlled tensions of "Blow", and on to the more orchestral and electronic textures of "Mirror Mirror." On stage, Ghinzu treats tension like a spring: build-ups, silences, detonations, melodies that settle and then slip away, with a taste for dark, cinematic atmospheres. A live show calibrated for fans of indie rock and sonic shifts, where melody never eclipses experimentation, and vice versa.
