Sam Sauvage

Originally from northern France, Sam Sauvage shapes an alternative pop nourished by ’80s rock, new wave and a highly visual contemporary poetry. Between the shadow of Bashung, the rhythmic angle of Talking Heads and the narrative precision of Stromae, he draws a clear line: direct lyrics, hook-driven melodies and production that blends retro sonorities with contemporary touches. On 26 March 2027, he takes over Le Douze in Cergy for a set conceived as a story in motion, where angular guitars meet cold synths and groovy pulses. On stage, Sam favors direct address, the play of contrasts and abrupt shifts, leading his songs toward a format marked as much by rock energy as by attention to detail. Drawing from tracks on his first EP and more recent releases, he unfolds precise, rhythmic writing that places the text at the center without losing the visceral interaction with the audience. A return to the fundamentals of the pop song, with a recognizable vocal timbre and arrangements that move straight ahead, without artifice.
