Chimène Badi

Chimène Badi returns to the stage with the Origine(s) Tour to mark 25 years of her career. This concert retraces her story, from the beginnings that first brought her to public attention to her landmark albums, while also acknowledging her more soulful and gospel excursions. The setlist blends her signature hits with songs that have accompanied her over the years, and includes a few carefully chosen covers that reveal her influences. Carried by an instantly recognizable voice, her performances range from subtle to powerful, always in service of the lyrics. Between songs she shares memories, touchstones, and the threads that connect each phase of her journey, from French pop to more American colors. The current arrangements give the melodies room to breathe and spotlight the texture of her voice, the emotion and experience that have shaped her path.
