Vianney

After five years away from touring, Vianney returns to the stage in the format he favors: alone, his guitar slung over his shoulder, with songs that go straight to the point. Nine months spent building with his hands and isolating himself to write have sharpened his appetite for performing; he comes back with well-known tracks and brand-new material, in a concert designed for a face-to-face encounter with the audience. His acoustic pop, between clear folk and light rhythms, puts voice and lyrics back at the center, as it has since Idées blanches. Expect to find the drive of “Pas là” or “Je m’en vais,” but also the broader vein of his recent records and the spirit of exchange cultivated through his collaborations. Vianney will be in Rennes, at the Liberté, on December 10, 2027, for an unadorned set, on a human scale, that favors direct address and the generosity of live performance. A return conceived as a baring of the repertoire, to reconnect with the essentials, face-to-face with the public.
