Anthony Kavanagh « Jet Lag »

Anthony Kavanagh arrives with Jet Lag, a stand-up show shaped between Montreal and Paris. With a Québécois’s keen ear, he probes the mismatch that sets in when you change time zones, accents and social codes, and uses it to observe our habits, relationships and social reflexes. On stage he alternates jokes, improvisation and musical asides, slips in impersonations when needed, and plays on the Quebec–France contrast without overdoing it. His storytelling carries him from boarding queues to family gatherings, from language misunderstandings to everyday mix-ups, with a taste for the little details that make everything click.

Trained in Quebec’s stand-up culture and now based in France, Kavanagh draws on his experience as a stage performer for a set that blends observation with self-deprecating humor.
