Anthony Kavanagh arrives in Paris with Jet Lag, a stand-up conceived as a journey through the misalignments of our modern lives. A Québécois who has mastered the art of the mic, he plays with language differences, habits that don’t always cross the Atlantic, and those moments when we’re no longer quite in the same time zone as everyone else. A keen observer, he strings together everyday situations and quick, on-the-spot portraits, blending improvisation, mimicry and a sharp sense of rhythm.

The show bears his signature stage style: a Québec-style stand-up that flirts with music, impersonation and acting, without ever losing the thread of the story. He speaks about identity, relationships and a hyperconnected society that moves a little too fast, making use of the slight disorientation created by jet lag to look at our automatic behaviors in a new light. One hour in which the mismatch becomes material for storytelling, offbeat timing and a shared rapport with the audience.
