Anthony Kavanagh presents Jet Lag at the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse in Paris on February 5, 2027. A Québécois comedian, singer and actor, he first became known for a stand-up style that mixes improvisation, impressions and musical passages. In Jet Lag, he explores the misalignments that mark his journey and everyday life: touring rhythms, cultural differences between Quebec and metropolitan France, and contrasting perspectives on society. He shifts from one character to another, plays with accents and languages, alternates between observational material and anecdotes, and slips in brief sung interludes. His voice as a dubbing artist returns to the stage, and his changes of pace establish a constant dialogue with the audience. Between Quebec-style stand-up and a gift for storytelling, Anthony Kavanagh unfolds a show built around movement, travel and the sense of being a little out of sync everywhere at once.
