Info
Two pillars of electronic music meet in Antwerp on 20 July 2026 at Traum. Groove Armada, the London duo of Tom Findlay and Andy Cato, brings decades of club craft shaped between studios and dancefloors. Known for weaving downtempo textures into house grooves, they move easily from fat basslines and soul‑tinged samples to synth‑driven cuts, a thread running from the early days of Vertigo and Lovebox to the darker edges of Black Light and the more recent Edge of the Horizon. Alternating live configurations and DJ sets across festivals and clubs, they’ve honed a way of building narratives that keep the floor engaged without losing that melodic pull.
Facing them, Felix Da Housecat carries the Chicago lineage with a flair for elastic, synth‑pinned rhythms. Introduced to production at the end of the 1980s alongside DJ Pierre, he fused acid house roots with a sharper electro sensibility, pushing it into the electroclash moment with Kittenz and Thee Glitz and later projects. Under his own name or as Aphrohead, he shifts between dry, steely club tracks and pop‑coded hooks, a balance refined through countless remixes and late‑night sets. London to Chicago, house to electro: a direct line of influence under one roof, in Antwerp, on 20 July 2026 at Traum.
