Now on tour across Europe, Pambelé defines a style: Afro-Colombian psychedelia.
Their music draws from the culture of trance, improvisation and dance, exploring connections between traditional music of Colombia's Caribbean coast and Western psychedelic influences from the 60s.
Cheerful vocals mix with the pulse of tambor alegre and Farfisa organ, and waves of electric guitar and saxophone evoke Colombia's northern coastline.
Based in France, Pambelé brings together musicians from Colombia, France, New Zealand, Panama and Italy.
Guest DJs will round off the evening.
