Haute & Freddy

Haute & Freddy will appear at the Maschinenhaus (Schönhauser Allee 36, 10435 Berlin) on 4 November 2026, bringing their pop project to the stage. Behind the name are composer and vocalist Michelle Buzz and writer Lance Shipp. Their approach: direct, catchy melodies, clear storylines and a strongly visual vocabulary that moves between electronic chanson, club culture and narrative pop.

With the debut single "Scantily Clad," the duo made a name for themselves on the indie-pop map, followed by "Shy Girl," which featured in various film and TV soundtracks. "Dance The Pain Away" continues this trajectory: pop with dance influences, arranged in sharp contrasts and electronically defined. Typical for Haute & Freddy is their theatrical bent: characters, gestures and a newly conceived medieval iconography run through their videos and concerts — even extending to the audience, which sometimes appears as clowns, mimes or jesters.

Simultaneously, Haute & Freddy are working on their first album, Big Disgrace, for Atlantic Records, which consolidates their blend of pop songwriting, club energy and a consistent narrative universe. In Berlin, this universe will meet a stage that takes image, persona and song seriously.
