Pomplamoose « European Premiere »

On 16 October 2026 Pomplamoose makes their European premiere at Q-Factory in Amsterdam. The American duo of Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn have, since 2008, built their own universe around their VideoSongs: what you hear, you also see happening. Their music moves between indie pop and chamber pop, with light jazz and soul touches, tight harmonies and meticulous arrangements. Live they switch effortlessly between acoustic layers and pop production, with keyboards, bass, percussion and subtle electronics, letting originals, covers and mashups flow into one another.

Expect clever reworkings of classics and recent hits – think Single Ladies, September or Mr. Sandman – alongside compositions that expand on their video aesthetic. Pomplamoose grew up online but remain close to the essentials: precise playing, clear singing, every part serving the song. In Amsterdam they present a set that brings their studio approach to the stage: transparent, melody-driven and full of small details you both hear and see.
