MEUTE

On April 15, 2027, MEUTE takes over the Zénith du Grand Nancy in Maxéville with its Techno Marching Band. Ten years after performing in streets, clubs and festivals, the Hamburg brass band opens a new chapter with a brand-new set supported by a new studio album and staging with techno-tinged accents.

Founded in 2015 around trumpeter Thomas Burhorn, the ensemble brings together eleven musicians and transposes techno, house and deep house into a fully acoustic performance. Brass to the fore, percussion at the heart, the repetitive pulse intact: MEUTE makes people dance without machines, unfolding builds and breaks that preserve the energy of the dancefloor.

The repertoire mixes original compositions and reinterpretations of tracks from the electronic scene, from Rej d’Âme to pieces by Laurent Garnier, Disclosure, Dennis Ferrer or Deadmau5. On stage, the collective writing, hypnotic motifs and marching-band dynamics establish a flow that moves from the street to the main hall without losing intensity.

At the Zénith du Grand Nancy, this new live show emphasizes a broader sound and a spatial design conceived for trance, while retaining the group’s organic DNA: breathless techno played by wind instruments, brass leading the charge and a razor-tight percussive groove.
