Orange Blossom

Orange Blossom, formed in Nantes in the 1990s, has been building from the start a hybrid where electronics, Arabic traditions and rock converge. On 29 January 2027 the group will appear at the Centre Culturel de Soignies. Live, machines and acoustic instruments interweave, guided by the voice of Hend El Rawy. The set moves between pulsing rhythms, cinematic textures and melodies that evoke the Middle East and Al-Andalus, always with a clear groove as its through-line.

The band's trajectory runs from the rawer debut Orange Blossom to Everything Must Change, where the songwriting broadens and the fusion becomes more organic. With Under the Shade of Violets, the record that marks the turning point with Hend El Rawy, the sound expands: larger orchestrations, electronics with a more narrative bent. Al’Andalus Series Vol.1 lays those roots bare, nourished by years on the road. In Soignies the group brings this repertoire to life, layer by layer, attentive to dynamics and tension, without spectacular effects but focused on the intensity of the ensemble playing.
