Info
Formed in Dublin during the pandemic, Gurriers quickly moved out of the sweltering basements to establish themselves on larger stages. Their taut post-punk, steeped in art-punk and noise, charges straight ahead: abrasive guitars, tight rhythms, vocals that balance directness and detachment. Their lyrics, sharp and uncompromising, probe contemporary unease, the normalization of violence, and political contradictions. In concert, this material becomes a compact whole that invites movement and cohesion.
After Come and See in 2024, the quintet returns with its second album, Nobody’s Coming To Save You, due in September 2026. More direct and more expansive, it amplifies what makes them strong and translates the electricity of the underground to the scale of a full venue. On stage, Gurriers draw from the new tracks as well as the well-rehearsed songs, with the confidence gained from supporting Turnstile and Kneecap.
Gurriers will be in Paris on December 3, 2026, at the Trabendo. It’s an opportunity to gauge the band’s evolution and rediscover the tension that defines their identity—unadorned, carried by a raw sound and an energy made for live performance.
