The Jungle Giants

The Jungle Giants bring their indie-pop pulse to Lee’s Palace in Toronto on October 5, 2026. Formed in Brisbane in 2011, the quartet—Sam Hales, Cesira Aitken, Andrew Dooris and Keelan Bijker—has shifted from taut indie rock to a dance-leaning sound built on bass-forward grooves, clear guitar lines and tight rhythms with an electro-pop tilt. On stage, the band draws on a catalogue that runs from early EPs The Jungle Giants and She’s a Riot to albums Learn to Exist, Speakerzoid, Quiet Ferocity and Love Signs, with Sam Hales increasingly steering the writing and production.

2026 marks a new chapter with Experiencing Feelings of Joy, announced after a run of standalone tracks and a 2022 collaboration with Hermitude. The set threads these new songs with material from across their past releases, pacing between nocturnal pop shades and springy indie energy. Lean arrangements, melodic refrains and percussion designed for the floor: The Jungle Giants bring a show that locks into a groove and doesn’t let go, made for the intimate scale of Lee’s Palace.
