Shakey Graves brings the Fondness, Etc. Tour to Théâtre Beanfield in Montreal on 13 December 2026. The Austin-born songwriter Alejandro Rose-Garcia moves between bare-bones folk-blues and a lean rock pulse, shifting from the one-man-band stomp of his early days to a tight trio format. On stage he folds Roll the Bones-era intimacy into the broader textures opened on And the War Came, then pushed on Can’t Wake Up, the Look Alive EP and Movie of the Week. Fingerpicked guitars, a grainy croon and narrative songwriting set the tone, with arrangements that stretch and contract in real time.
Also on the bill, Nashville-based Colorado native Jobi Riccio blends country, folk and indie rock with a clear, text-first approach. After her 2023 debut Whiplash, her live set leans more on electric guitars and taut rhythms while keeping a steady, conversational vocal line. Her songs trace family ties, doubt, desire and the pull of Western landscapes, a grounded counterpoint that echoes and reframes the Americana threads running through the night.
