Puscifer

Puscifer, the shape-shifting project led by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), stops at O2 Academy Glasgow on 9 November 2026. Built as a fluid collective rather than a fixed band, with long-time partners Carina Round and Mat Mitchell, Puscifer treats studio and stage like a lab, mixing alternative rock with electronic textures and trip hop shades. The palette runs from slow-groove pulses and abrasive guitars to dark programming and layered vocals, a blend honed across albums like V Is for Vagina, Conditions of My Parole, Money Shot and the more synthetic, minimal Existential Reckoning.

On stage, the group pushes beyond the usual concert format. Puscifer’s shows weave music with video, scripted fragments and a performative edge that blurs the line between band, visual concept and theatre troupe. Setlists tend to thread heavy rhythms with more melodic turns, shifting moods without breaking the narrative flow. The result is a focused, cinematic experience where songs morph, characters appear and the electronics lock in with guitars and voices. For Glasgow, expect a tour through their catalogue with the sharper electronic backbone that has defined their recent work.
