LØLØ « God Forbid a Girl Goes on Tour »

LØLØ brings her God Forbid a Girl Goes on Tour to Commonwealth in Calgary on October 3, 2026. Toronto-born and now between Toronto and Los Angeles, LØLØ (Lauren Mandel) moves between alt-pop, pop rock and pop-punk with a slight grunge tint. She started on open mic stages before a run of alternative point‑of‑view covers in 2020 grew her audience, leading to a series of singles and a deal with Hopeless Records. Her songs read like diary pages: catchy melodies, early‑2000s guitars, and lyrics that sift through relationships, vulnerability and a touch of self‑mockery.

After early releases like Yours and the indie EP Sweater Collection, she followed with the EPs Overkill and Debbie Downer, teaming up with Maggie Lindemann on debbie downer and with Girlfriends on 5, 6, 7, 8. Her 2024 debut album, Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One, extends that mix of energy and introspection and feeds into a live set built for choruses that stick. On stage, she blends new tracks with the songs that carried her to bills at Lollapalooza, Sad Summer and Slam Dunk, for a show that connects through guitars, hooks and clear-cut storytelling.
