Info
Francis of Delirium plays The Bodega Nottingham on 17 September 2026. The Luxembourg-based project led by singer and songwriter Jana Bahrich, alongside producer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Hewett, shapes a lean indie rock that shifts between sharp guitars, melodic tension and quieter, dream-leaning breaks. First noticed around 2020, the duo refined a direct, introspective writing style across the EPs Wading (2021) and The Funhouse (2022), then widened the scope with Lighthouse in 2024. That first album gathers songs like Real Love, First Touch, Blue Tuesday and Give It Back to Me, with two tracks produced by Catherine Marks.
On stage, Francis of Delirium keeps arrangements tight and lets dynamics do the work, moving from close-to-the-bone verses to bursts of distortion without overcrowding the sound. The set leans on Lighthouse while leaving space for earlier material, carried by Bahrich’s clear, upfront vocals and guitar lines that balance grit and melody. Over the past years, the project has shared stages across Europe with acts like The 1975, Soccer Mommy, Horsegirl and Kings of Leon, building a live presence that favors immediacy over excess—an indie rock show cut for small rooms where the songs stay at the center.
