Lime Garden

Lime Garden bring their tight, shape-shifting indie rock to The Castle & Falcon, Birmingham, on 20 October 2026. The Brighton four-piece — Chloe Howard (vocals, guitar), Leila Deeley (guitar), Tippi Morgan (bass) and Annabel Whittle (drums, production) — tour Maybe Not Tonight, their second album on So Young Records. Written with a sharper edge, the record follows the highs and hazards of a night out, where impulsive turns take over and the thrill leads the way.

Co-produced with Charlie Andrew (Wolf Alice, alt-J) and refined by Whittle’s additional production, these songs fuse glitchy vocal fragments, hypnotic drum lines, garage-rock guitars, detuned synths and flashes of hand-played percussion. Many tracks began as home demos, which gives the set a close-up, detailed feel on stage. You can catch traces of Bon Iver, A.G. Cook and Jim-E Stack alongside touchpoints like Magdalena Bay, The Breeders, St. Vincent and New Order, but the band keep the guitars central and the rhythms nimble.

Formed in Brighton, Lime Garden have grown from a run of sharp early singles into a group confident in contrast: tense and melodic, danceable without going full club, and always locked to a clear hook. On this date, expect a set that mirrors the album’s arc — a run through the pleasures and perils of the party, chased by that sudden rush.
