Francis of Delirium

Francis of Delirium brings its sharp, melodic indie rock to Cardiff on 26 September 2026 at Clwb Ifor Bach. Led by Luxembourg-based singer and guitarist Jana Bahrich and developed with producer Chris Hewett, the project sits between wiry guitars, melodic tension and quieter, dreamier passages. First noticed around 2020, Francis of Delirium has honed a direct, introspective writing style where tight song structures leave space for a discreet pop edge.

After the EPs Wading (2021) and The Funhouse (2022), the duo expanded its scope with Lighthouse (2024), a debut album carried by Real Love, First Touch, Blue Tuesday and Give It Back to Me; two tracks were produced by Catherine Marks. On stage, the band plays on contrasts, moving from urgency to more spacious arrangements without losing clarity. Over the past years, Francis of Delirium has toured the European circuit and shared bills with The 1975, Soccer Mommy, Horsegirl and Kings of Leon. In Cardiff, expect a set that draws on this trajectory, balancing nerve and sensitivity in compact, clear-cut songs.
