JeanJass

On February 3, 2027 at L’Aéronef in Lille, JeanJass returns as a solo artist with the assurance of a rapper-producer who has built his path step by step. Born in 1988, he discovered rap in the mid-2000s with his childhood friends in Exodarap, before striking out on his own with Goldman in 2014. His path then crossed with Caballero: a studio set up almost by chance, Double Hélice in 2016, and a collaboration that became enduring, with more than twenty projects together. At the same time, JeanJass has refined a personal discography in which production becomes central. Sampling and crate-digging shape his signature, which he also puts at the service of other artists—from Déjeuner en paix with Mairo (2023) to SCOPE with Keroué (2024) and Cognac & Cigarettes with Jungle Jack (2024). This experience feeds an increasingly direct songwriting, visible on Doudoune en été (2022), originally conceived as an EP before becoming an album, carried by an intentional spontaneity and a maturity gained notably through fatherhood. On stage, that mix of technique and feeling reappears: carefully crafted productions and a personal narrative that holds together the story of a duo, his solo assertion, and the producer’s perspective.
