Nicolas Peyrac « En Toute Liberté »

On 22 May 2027 at the Palais des Congrès in Versailles, Nicolas Peyrac presents En Toute Liberté, an event refocused on the writing and melodies that have threaded through his career. A singer-songwriter, he has blended French chanson, pop and Anglo-American–influenced folk since the 1970s, with a preference for narrative and introspective lyrics. The program includes songs that have marked his path, from “So Far Away from L.A.” to “Et mon père,” as well as later pieces carried by the same attention to stories and characters.

On stage, Peyrac presents his repertoire with simplicity, placing the words front and center and allowing the songs to breathe. Ballads, pop inflections and soft-rock touches: he moves between these colors effortlessly, privileging the clarity of the melodies and the coherence of the storytelling. En Toute Liberté offers a journey through several decades of songs, a direct way to reconnect with a body of work shaped by the desire to tell stories—between memories, travels and perspectives on the world.
