Electric Six bring their Detroit blend of rock, disco, new wave and garage grit to Foundry, Sheffield on Friday 26 June 2026, part of a run of intimate summer shows. Formed in the late 90s and led by frontman Dick Valentine, the band first broke through with Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar before fixing its style on the 2003 album Fire: sharp hooks, danceable rhythms and a taste for satirical storytelling. Since then they’ve kept the catalogue moving, from Señor Smoke and Switzerland to Turquoise in 2023, affinities that thread guitar bite with synth pulse. On stage, Electric Six balance punchy riffs, four-on-the-floor grooves and dry banter, pulling across the discography while leaving room for the tracks that lit up the early 2000s. Support comes from Enjoyable Listens, setting the tone with crooning vocals over minimalist synth-pop.
