Info
Barenaked Ladies bring their melodic alt-pop and quick-witted storytelling to The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh on 7 December 2026. Formed in Toronto, the quartet blends jangly guitars, tight harmonies and playful banter into songs that stick. Early indie tapes led to Canadian success with Gordon before the wider breakthrough of Stunt and Maroon, and the band has kept the pace with albums through to Detour de Force.
On stage, they mix hits and deep cuts with loose improvisations and vocal swaps. Setlists often move from One Week, Pinch Me or If I Had $1,000,000 to newer tracks, plus the theme from The Big Bang Theory. Ed Robertson leads with quick-fire lyrics and guitar, anchored by Jim Creeggan’s elastic bass, Kevin Hearn’s keys and guitar textures, and Tyler Stewart’s steady drums. Three decades in, they play with an easy, conversational flow, turning sharp hooks into shared choruses and keeping the focus on craft, humor and stacked harmonies.
