Blood Red Shoes

Blood Red Shoes play Gorilla in Manchester on 28 October 2026. Formed in Brighton in 2004 by guitarist Laura-Mary Carter and drummer Steven Ansell, the duo built a lean, direct sound at the crossroads of indie rock, garage, noise and post-punk. Guitar, drums and two voices answer each other without piling on layers, favouring tight riffs, short melodies and a clear sense of rhythmic tension.
