White Denim

Born in Austin in 2006, White Denim fuse garage rock, psych, soul and jazz-fusion into compact songs that pivot on a dime. Fronted by singer-guitarist James Petralli with bassist Steve Terebecki, the band builds live sets around sharp riffs, sudden turns and pockets of improvisation, keeping the raw, DIY spirit of their early recordings. Workout Holiday, Exposion and Fits laid the frantic blueprint; D and Corsicana Lemonade broadened the palette without losing the edge. Stiff, Performance and Side Effects followed from their Radio Milk base, then World as a Waiting Room, the Raze Regal collaboration and 12 pushed the catalogue further.

On 1 September 2026 at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds, White Denim roll out a show that shuffles eras and tempos, threading new material with older cuts and balancing tight figures with open-ended detours. Quick turns, locked-in grooves and songs that shift once they hit the stage: the band’s restless approach keeps the set moving, alive and in the moment.
