Starbenders

Starbenders bring their glam-charged rock to Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 5 June 2026. Formed in Atlanta, the quartet centers on singer-guitarist Kimi Shelter, whose gritty vocals and melodic bite mènent des refrains directs. At her side, Aaron Lecesne drives the low end with elastic bass lines, Kriss Tokaji delivers sharp, high-energy guitar work, and Qi Wei locks the groove on drums. The band fuses 70s-tinged glitter with hard rock punch and power-pop hooks: clean riffs, bright harmonies, and a visual flair to match.

On stage, they draw from Love Potions (2020) and Take Back the Night (2023), along with earlier EP cuts. Years on the road with acts like Palaye Royale and Alice In Chains have tightened their live chemistry: songs hit quick, guitars stay front and center, and choruses land straight away. Starbenders play glam-informed rock without leaning on nostalgia, folding classic textures into a modern, focused set built for a room like the Brudenell.
