Melanie C

Melanie C takes over O2 Academy Brixton in London on 23 October 2026. First known as Sporty Spice with the Spice Girls in the mid-90s, Melanie Jayne Chisholm has built a solo path that blends pop, rock and electronic currents. Northern Star (1999) set the tone with memorable collaborations, including Bryan Adams and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Reason (2003) followed, before she launched her own label Red Girl Records to release Beautiful Intentions (2005) and This Time (2007), pushing a more direct pop rock and introspective ballads.

The Sea (2011) and Stages (2012) expanded the palette, from soulful adult pop to musical theatre repertoire. With Version of Me (2016) and the self-titled Melanie C (2020), she leaned further into club-minded and dance-pop textures, often in dialogue with LGBTQ+ scenes. On stage, she draws freely across this catalogue, shifting from guitar-led tracks to synth-driven cuts and quieter moments. A show built around songs that marked each phase of her journey, carried by her distinct voice and a tight live energy.
