Shed Seven

On 23 October 2026, Shed Seven bring their York-bred indie rock to Mandela Hall in Belfast. Formed in 1990, the band emerged with the 90s British wave that sat between britpop and alternative rock, built on melodic guitars, steady grooves and direct choruses. Fronted by Rick Witter with long-time bassist Tom Gladwin and a refreshed line-up, they run lean on stage, moving between tight riffs and sing-along hooks without fuss.

The set draws across three decades: early tracks from the Change Giver and A Maximum High years, late-90s material, and songs from the band’s studio return with Instant Pleasures, then A Matter of Time in 2024. Liquid Gold, also released in 2024, reworked parts of their catalogue and sharpened arrangements that now carry over live. The night leans guitar-first, connecting older staples with recent cuts, with arrangements updated for the room and a delivery that keeps things direct, melodic and to the point.
