Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox brings The Future Is Vintage Tour 2026 to The Anvil in Basingstoke on 13 May 2026. Founded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, the ever-rotating collective flips contemporary pop, R&B and hip-hop into styles from another era: speakeasy swing, doo-wop harmonies, soulful croons, ragtime twists and brassy big band energy.

On stage, a tight live band—piano, horns, upright bass, guitar and drums—anchors the groove while a lineup of guest vocalists takes turns at the mic, each with a distinct tone and attitude. Familiar hits become smoky torch songs, shuffling swing numbers or jump blues that invite you to move. Arrangements are detailed without feeling fussy, leaving space for solos, call-and-response and a bit of theatrical flair. The set flows like a revue, with clever medleys and key changes that keep the momentum up.
