Del Amitri return to Manchester with Past to Present, a set that traces four decades of songs written by Justin Currie and shaped with guitarist Iain Harvie. Formed in Glasgow in 1980, the band built a sound where bright guitars meet bittersweet storytelling, moving between pop-rock hooks, jangle textures and a folk-tinged pulse. The journey runs through Waking Hours, Change Everything, Twisted and Some Other Sucker’s Parade, with staples like Nothing Ever Happens, Kiss This Thing Goodbye, Always the Last to Know and Roll to Me, alongside later cuts and 2021’s Fatal Mistakes.

On 27 November 2026 at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, they revisit the tracks that carried them from UK charts to North American stages, with the core chemistry intact. Currie’s voice and bass anchor the melodies, Harvie’s guitars thread the riffs, and long-time ally Andy Alston adds colour on keys.
