The K's

The K's bring their sharp, guitar-driven indie rock to The Piece Hall in Halifax on 8 August 2026. Formed in 2016 in Earlestown, the band lines up Jamie Boyle (vocals, guitar), Ryan Breslin (guitar), Dexter Baker (bass) and Nathan Peers (drums, since 2023). They write compact songs with immediate melodies and a clear focus on the chorus, carried by a tight rhythm section and riffs that keep the pace up.

After a run of singles through the late 2010s and early 2020s, The K's stepped up to the album format with I Wonder If the World Knows? in 2024 on LAB Records, followed by Pretty on the Internet in 2025. On stage, the vocals sit front and centre while the guitars trade lines and push the songs forward, keeping structures lean and hooks easy to catch. The set mixes new material with tracks that first put them on the map, staying close to a British indie tradition that values direct writing, energy and a sense of melody built for the live moment.
