Info
Tame Impala land at Co-op Live in Manchester on 8 May 2026 for a deep dive into their psychedelic rock universe. Led by Kevin Parker, joined on the project’s early live adventures by Dom Simper and Jay Watson, the Australian outfit built its name on spiralling guitars, phased synths and grooves that blur rock and electronic lines. From the first self-titled EP in 2008 to the breakthrough of Innerspeaker and Lonerism, the project has shaped a sound that drifts between dreamy vocals and tight, motorik rhythms, opening doors from club stages to major festivals.
On stage, Tame Impala stretch their tracks with fluid transitions and hypnotic builds, letting riffs and textures breathe without losing focus. Expect warm fuzz, basslines that pulse under a haze of effects and melodies that stick long after the last chorus. It’s a set that maps the project’s evolution while keeping the live energy upfront, balancing studio finesse with the looseness of a band in motion. Manchester gets the full trip, no shortcuts.
