The Living Tombstone

The Living Tombstone plays Manchester Academy in Manchester on 21 August 2026. Launched on YouTube in the early 2010s, the project led by Israeli composer and producer Yoav Landau blends electronic rock, EDM and sharp pop songwriting with chiptune textures and a strong pull from gaming culture. First noticed for remixes and tracks referencing animation and video game franchises, it has since expanded into original songs that keep a close link to online communities and the DIY energy of the web.

On stage, The Living Tombstone works as a flexible setup around Landau, with American singer and writer Sam Haft as a frequent collaborator alongside rotating vocalists and musicians from the internet scene. The live show brings tight hooks, layered synths, punchy guitars and rhythms built for movement, often paired with visuals that echo the project’s digital roots. A chance to hear the tracks that travelled across screens and playlists take on a more physical form, with that mix of electronic drive and song-led structure that defines The Living Tombstone’s approach.
