Amanda Shires « Streetlights and Stars European Tour »

Amanda Shires brings her Streetlights and Stars European Tour to Limelight, Belfast, on 4 June 2026. Raised between Lubbock and Mineral Wells, the Texas-born singer, songwriter and fiddle player moves at the crossroads of alternative country, folk and Americana. A teenage violinist with the Texas Playboys before joining Lubbock’s Thrift Store Cowboys, she later carved out a solo path in Nashville. Her songs lean into candid couple stories and everyday moments, carried by a clear voice and melodies that shift from stripped-back folk to electric, atmospheric textures.

This tour draws across her solo catalogue, from early work to the recent Take It Like a Man, with the fiddle as a compass and arrangements that let the songs breathe. Along the way, Shires has been a member of Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit and co-founded The Highwomen with Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby, a collaborative network that feeds into her sense of craft. In Belfast, she brings that mix of narrative detail and musical pulse, shaped by years on the road and a sharp ear for melody.
